How many times is too many?

Does it matter whether you take the GMAT 1 versus 3 versus 5 times as long as the score is in the appropriate zone?

Actually, I don't really know. I took it just the once, but I know a few people that took it 2 and 3 times. If it's just a couple times, I would think that they'd generally just look at the higher score. But I'm sure it starts to be frowned upon if you take it too often.
